Hannah's Kilimanjaro Trek for St. Helena

Story

On 4th November 2022 I will be flying out to Tanzania as part of Team St. Helena to begin a 10 day trek up Mount. Kilimanjaro; finally after 2 previous attempts which were due to take place across Christmas and New Year in 2020 and 2021 but unfortunately were postponed due to COVID-19.

Not only will I be helping raise funds for St. Helena to help them continue the amazing work that they do, but I will also be trekking in memory of one of my best friends; Ryan Corlett. St. Helena helped support both Ryan and his wife, Danielle, and enabled us to have many more valuable months with him to make amazing memories, which we will be forever grateful.

You can read more about Danielle & Ryan's story and how St. Helena supported them here: https://www.sthelena.org.uk/stories/just-to-focus-to-on-spending-time-together-was-the-nicest-thing

It costs £9.1m to run the Hospice for a year - they can only do this through the support of businesses and with fundraising efforts such as this. Through specialist nursing, community work, counselling and therapies they are able to help local people facing incurable illness and bereavement.

Thank you for any donation that you are able to spare, big or small. All of it will help me towards the summit and keep me going on the biggest challenge I have ever taken on in memory of Ryan and for St. Helena.
